Showcase your pupil’s creative work in Fusion’s Young Creatives Gallery & Glassworks Square
Arts and culture play a vital role in enriching learning, building a wide range of skills, boosting confidence and wellbeing, and opening doors to future opportunities. These experiences can have a lasting and meaningful impact on young lives.
Fusion’s Young Creatives Gallery shines a spotlight on the creative achievements of Barnsley’s children and young people, giving them the recognition they deserve in our online gallery. Each term, Fusion invites schools to share pupils’ creative work, helping to raise aspirations and showcase the outstanding creativity found across our community.
How to Get Involved
Taking part is simple: just submit examples of your pupils’ creative work. This could include artwork, poetry, creative writing, photography or video footage. All selected pieces will be displayed in Fusion’s online gallery, and every child whose work is featured will receive a Fusion Gallery badge and certificate.
Special Launch Display in Glassworks Square
To celebrate Fusion’s Young Creatives Gallery selected artwork will feature in a special one‑day exhibition at the Great Childhoods Ambition Celebration Event on Saturday 28th March 2026. Artwork will be displayed throughout Glassworks Square and on digital screens in key town centre locations.
- Schools can submit artwork, photographs, or poems created by children and young people of all ages.
- You may submit up to 3 entries per school.
- Entries should connect to one of the Great Childhoods Ambition themes: Belong, Explore, Dream, Grow, Connect.
- All submissions must be A4 in size and provided in JPEG format.
- Ensure each piece is clearly labelled with the child’s first name, surname initial, year group, and school (e.g., Elizabeth M, Year 4, Park Primary School), along with the chosen theme.
