As part of Fusion’s Festival of Joy Telling Tales Commission, a series of workshops are being hosted at the Library @ The Lightbox in Barnsley Town Centre.

On Saturday, 12 October, from 1:30pm until 3:30pm, explore Barnsley folk tales and develop artwork to illustrate them with Storyteller, Beccy Dye. In this workshop we will work together to reclaim local folk stories.

We’ll explore what they mean to us, and how we might re-tell them. Folk tales are the stories that people traditionally told around warm fires at night. Stories of ghouls, barghests, boggarts and the faerie kind.
