Barnsley’s Secondary Arts Network is delighted to invite you to a CPD Networking Event which will be hosted at Trinity St Edwards on Thursday 22nd January.

This event is designed as an opportunity for each secondary school in Barnsley to send a senior leader and teachers linked to the following areas of study:
- Music
- Drama / Performing Arts
- Visual Arts
- Literacy
Aims of the session:
The purpose of the event is to network, share ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration across Barnsley, with a focus on strengthening cultural and creative education through the following content:
- Introduction and Networking
- Subject Audit – Review of all GCSE options within attending schools
- CPD Canvas – Identifying professional development needs across subject areas to inform bespoke CPD opportunities in arts and cultural education

This session is the first in a series of CPD and networking events run by the Secondary Arts Network. The future programme will feature guest speakers and will begin deep dives into CPD issues and creative teaching strategies across the borough.
